When you change the headlight on your Ridgeline, it is important to not touch the glass part of the bulb with your fingers because the oil from your fingertips will cause that part of the bulb to burn hotter, which significantly shortens the life of the bulb. If your Ridgeline has this type of bulb, we do not recommend that you attempt to change it yourself. This measurement can only confirm whether the RL crossbars may reach the rails but probably won't confirm whether they can be securely attached or trusted. These bulbs have a very high voltage that runs through them, even if the battery is disconnected. Measure the width between the rails on your '07 Pilot and inquire from the seller the width between attachment points on the RL crossbar. Some Hondas have high intensity discharge headlights, sometimes referred to as xenon lights. All Black (Aluminum and Zinc Plated Carbon Steel). All Metallic (Aluminum and Stainless Steel). The Ridgeline Rack 5 crossbars correspond in height to those on the 2017 & 2018 Ridgeline OEM Roof Rack. In some Hondas, the highbeam is the same bulb as the headlight and it is possible for the highbeam to work, but the headlight be burnt out even if they are the same bulb (and vise versa). The RidgeLine Rack 5 allows full access to, and operation of the trunk. Changing both headlight bulbs on your Ridgeline at the same time will allow both bulbs to have the same intensity and prevent the new headlight bulb from appearing brighter than the bulb on the opposite side. Headlights grow dimmer by up to 20% over time and eventually burn out - for this reason, we recommend changing your headlights in pairs. The video above shows you to replace the headlight in your 2008 Honda Ridgeline.
