The only way to make it work like you are expecting it If you have ever installed the retail verison on said problem PC, from our site, a trial, whatever, it will always prompt you with that activation method. Question - what is the solution for getting it to run on "A". When I later logged onto "B" it installed and fired up without problem. While trying to get it running on "A" I found an option to stream it to "B", which I did.
It wanted, and still does, request an activation key. I purchased Fences thru Steam using "A" and did the download and install. I have Steam installed on desktop "A" and laptop "B". OK - I must apologize, because I did get it to partially work, but I still have a problem. It continues to ask for an activation key. I have steam installed on all of my machines and it will not activate on any of them.
